My Approach

I practice from a client centered and strength-based approach. You are the expert in your life, and I am here to help guide you in your healing journey. As we uncover your truth, I hope you feel more confident in living the life you genuinely want. Along with strength-based care and a client centered approach, I also frequently utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, relational therapy, and mindfulness with clients. I enjoy working with a diverse caseload; I work with adults, teens, families, parents, and couples and especially enjoy working with mother/daughter relationships.

I frequently encourage my clients to seek out what brings them joy in their lives and to above all else treat themselves with as much kindness as possible.

About Me

I am a therapist because I believe in this work. I have confidence in the “wounded healer” concept, and I live by the idea that it is my familiarity and understanding of my own pain that has given me the power to help others heal. For me, joy is found in moving my body (hiking, biking, walking, yoga), being in nature, nurturing my relationships with my family, deep belly laughs with friends, and adventuring to new places.
