My Approach

My clinical approach pulls from multiple theories with a leaning toward cognitive behavioral therapy and humanistic approaches. I believe that clients are the experts on their own lives and experiences, and I see myself as a partner in their healing process and journey. I am passionate about working with teens and young adults of all cultural backgrounds who are struggling with phase of life transitions, anxiety, depression, body image, self-esteem, and family communication issues. My style is warm, empathic, approachable, relaxed, and deeply authentic. I feel fortunate to be an In-Home Coach where I get to work with teens and youth in the community doing enjoyable and restorative activities during therapeutic interaction.
