My Approach

Couples

If your relationship is heading down a bad path, you do not have to struggle alone. I use the research-backed Gottman Method to help couples revitalize their relationships by building on trust, commitment, passion, and friendship you may have lost over the years. I can help you and your partner spot behavior patterns and beliefs from childhood and previous relationships that may be interfering with your partnership. Whether you need to heal from past betrayals, improve your communication skills, or reignite the spark, I can help. You can get back on track in your relationship; let me be your guide.

Individual Adults

In individual therapy, I will meet you with a balance of validation and warm curiosity. I am here to help you identify and reach your goals using evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy while leaving space for you to share and make sense of your experiences. Together, we will combine your expertise on yourself with my skills, knowledge, and experience to help you explore your thoughts, engage with your emotions, and find a path toward healing.

Teens

Life is challenging, and parents and teens do not always know where to turn. Whether your teen needs space to explore their identity or is ready to develop anxiety coping skills, I will meet your teen where they are at. My ability to pivot between a teen’s personal interests and their therapy goals allows my clients to get what they want and need out of therapy. I let my sarcastic millennial humor thread the needle to help your teen open-up, share about their lives, and address their challenges.

About Me

I believe that the foundation of therapy lies in the connection we establish—where you feel safe, heard, and understood. Feeling less alone is a good first step on the path toward healing. I create a space where you may freely express yourself, knowing that your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are met with respect. I incorporate humor and foster an informal connection in our sessions. By infusing lightness and laughter, we can find new perspectives, relieve tension, and strengthen our therapeutic bond. During a session, you can expect a nonjudgmental and empathetic reflection of your life. I ask thought-provoking questions, encourage self-reflection, and challenge you to consider alternative perspectives while building practical tools and actionable strategies that you can use daily. Together, we may uncover patterns, identify obstacles, and co-create meaningful solutions that align with your values and goals.
